Heres a list of things you can try.

1st - Make sure you have all the MAPS & MODS that we run on our server.

2nd - If you dont you have 2 options.

2 - Enable your downloads in the game and let the downloads complete.This is a longer way of doing things but it will mean you get everything you need.

3rd - Make sure you RoCmod folder is not full of junk. This can cause many problems.If you have loads of sound mods or loads of weapon mods then the files wont work how they should. Try cleaning up the RoCmod folder a bit.

4th - If your using a SOF2 copy you have no chance of gettin in this server.This is a PURE server so go and buy an original copy you tight git. lol.

5th - Invalid.pk3. There are now a number of servers using OSP.You need to download a small 337kB file from the Orange Smoothie website then unzip it to your sof2 folder before you can play on these servers otherwise you get an Invalid.pk3 message and wont get in. Go to our links section for the OSP website.

This tool let's you edit your existing name or make a new one and copys it to all your folders in one go.

It lets you easily apply a lot of colour and it is fully WYSIWYG, i.e. you can see the colour of your name while editing it.

Finally solved the problem of getting 2 pc's connected to SoF with a shared connection, it turns out it was a Punkbuster generated problem.

To overcome just type in the console of the server PC PB_SV_LANMASK 192.168.1 or whatever the first three segments of the lan PC is, just remember to leave out the fourth segment of the ip address

If you are both trying to join a server run from the network then you will also have to type PB_SV_guidrelax 1 into the consul of the server PC otherwise a GUID Unknown message will keep popping up and kicking the Lan player.
